A Polar Dream

Departure on a special direct flight to Ivalo. We will have a snack on board the plane before arriving at our destination. Once in Ivalo, we will transfer to the village of Nellim, where our accommodation will be. As soon as we arrive and settle in, we will start engaging in activities and learning tricks while enjoying various workshops. During the trip, we will collect clues, learn to differentiate Santa Claus's reindeer, and learn typical songs and things from this culture, aiming to achieve our goal: to see Joulupukki and spend an unforgettable moment with him. Dinner will be at the complex's restaurant. After dinner, we'll have games, and the parents can address any questions they have about clothing, food, activities, etc., while we have fun with our new friends.

We will start with a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel to gather strength for a day full of adventures. Then, we will head to a nearby reindeer farm. Upon arrival at the farm, the Lappish breeder will welcome us. We will be able to feed the animals and see the calves born each year around the month of May. And how about ending this visit with a sleigh ride? Each sleigh is pulled by a single reindeer, and each reindeer has its own name. Do you know all the names of Santa Claus's sleigh reindeer? We might encounter some at the farm. This ride is ideal for enjoying the snowy landscape.

We return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, we will have some free time to rest before continuing with another typical Lapland activity. We will go on an excursion to the cross-country skiing trails. Cross-country skiing is very easy, even for those who have never tried it before. We will enjoy the snow with qualified instructors. To end the afternoon, how about enjoying a very special movie session? There will be no shortage of popcorn! We will have games and activities to see if the reindeer gave us any clues to find Santa Claus, before enjoying dinner at the resort's restaurant. And off to sleep, as tomorrow another day full of excitement awaits us.

Buffet breakfast at the hotel. We put on thermal clothing to start another day full of adventures, because we will undertake one of the excursions that we will find hard to forget, an incredible experience. We will travel in an authentic sled pulled by a team of husky dogs! Each adult participant will drive their own sled, and they can take turns. Well-trained huskies can pull up to seven times their own weight and are very gentle. We will return to the hotel for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will have a fun snow activity. Are you up for walking like ducks on snowshoes through the forest? It will be a peaceful walk so we can enjoy nature and observe the surroundings. Will there be a Santa's helper hidden in the forest? Maybe we will find reindeer tracks to follow their trail! Later we will enjoy games and activities, both individually and with the family, where fun is guaranteed. Do you want to participate? We will have dinner at the hotel and enjoy some fun moments that they surely have prepared for us.

And the day we were waiting for has arrived! We will start with a good buffet breakfast before taking a snowmobile excursion. They are very easy to drive, they don't have gears. The little ones will be able to enjoy the sled that the guide's snowmobile will tow through the snowy forests and frozen lakes. It will be much more fun! We will make a stop to have something warm (coffee, tea, or chocolate). We return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will go to a frozen lake where a local fisherman will teach us how to fish with nets under the ice. First, each of us will have to make a hole in the ice and then try to fish. While the parents try to fish on the ice, the little ones can have fun in the slide area. After this activity, the parents will have free time, during which we recommend enjoying a relaxing sauna. And the little ones in the group will enjoy entertainment activities in the hotel facilities. Do we already have all the clues to meet Santa Claus? Surely with what we have learned today, we will be able to achieve it...

As we will have learned to be “authentic elves,” we will receive a very special visit, Santa Claus himself will visit us today! Each family, privately, will be able to spend some time with this endearing character. Chat, give him the letter, take photos with him, and show him everything we have learned during the trip. We will have dinner at the hotel and continue with games and activities to enjoy a night full of laughter and fun.

We will wake up eager to enjoy our last breakfast in Lapland. In the morning, we will continue with games and activities. We will say goodbye to the country of Santa Claus! When the time comes, we will head to the airport.
