Day 1: Spain - Stockholm

The trip you so deserve is about to begin. Head to the airport and take your flight to Stockholm, this is just the beginning!

Upon your arrival in Stockholm, you will take a train to the heart of the city to check in at your hotel. After that, you will have the rest of the day free to explore and fall in love with the charming center of the Swedish capital.

Day 2: Stockholm - Kiruna

Breakfast

Today you will finally get to know Lapland! After a delicious breakfast, you will head to the airport early to catch the flight that will take you on your new adventure. During this flight, you will cross the line that marks the Arctic Circle, how amazing!

After arriving in Kiruna, you will meet up with the rest of the group to pick up the vans and head to the hotel to check in and settle into your room.

After recharging with a light lunch, you will prepare to experience one of the favorite activities for any visitor to these latitudes: exactly, if you have your driver's license in order you will be able to drive a snowmobile in Lapland itself (but if not, don't worry, as this activity is done in pairs).

How do you feel after traveling the wonderful snowy landscapes of northern Sweden on a snowmobile? Surely it is a memory you will carry with you for a lifetime.

Once the activity is over, you will return to Kiruna to have dinner and relax.

If the weather allows and the forecast is good, you can go out to chase your first northern lights.

Day 3: Kiruna

Breakfast

Good and cold morning! Gain strength by having breakfast, because today you will depart early to Nikkaluokta to immerse yourself in the impressive mountain landscapes and the Tarfala Valley, one of the wildest and most beautiful corners of the region. Can you imagine walking through this area, with spectacular views of the Kebnekaise mountain range? Keep your eyes open, because you might encounter reindeer or moose in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, you will return to Kiruna, where you will have time to explore this interesting city in the Swedish high Arctic. Did you know that Kiruna has to be relocated due to mining operations and is the second-largest municipality in the world with its 20,000 km²? Take the opportunity to discover its charming Art Nouveau wooden church.

And if the weather permits and your desire for adventure persists, at night you might have the chance to search for the fascinating northern lights once again.

Accommodation.

Day 4: Kiruna - Abisko

Breakfast and dinner.

Today it's time to say goodbye to Kiruna. After breakfast, you'll head north to the Abisko National Park, a true natural gem of Swedish Lapland. On the way, you'll have the opportunity to admire the iconic Lapporten mountains. Once in the park, you'll explore the beautiful Abisko canyon, known for its frozen waterfalls and unique geological formations. Imagine walking among these natural wonders, how impressive.

You will also be able to take a short walk on the frozen lake Torneträsk, the seventh largest in Sweden with an area of 330 km² and a depth of 168 meters. How does walking on one of the country's most impressive lakes sound to you?

After dinner, and if the weather allows, you'll explore the area in search of an ideal spot to observe the northern lights. Abisko is famous for being one of the best places in Lapland to witness this celestial spectacle, so fingers crossed.

Day 5: Abisko

Breakfast and dinner.

Today you will finally get to know the Abisko National Park! Your guide will teach you how to move with snowshoes as you explore the Abisko Valley, a fascinating winter landscape with bright snow crystals on snowy fields. Can you imagine the feeling of walking on the snow, surrounded by a birch forest in winter?

During the walk, keep your eyes open to spot tracks of local wildlife such as forest hares, white partridges, foxes, lemmings, and even moose if you're lucky. What animal would you like to encounter on your way?

We will take a break to enjoy a hot berry juice, while the only sound is the whispering of the forest and the hills. If the sky is clear, you will enjoy spectacular views of Lake Torneträsk and the Abisko mountain range, including the famous Lapporten mountain formation, sculpted by the ice age.

Remember to dress warmly and bring a backpack with extra clothes to adapt to the cold during the walk.

After the activity, you will return to the hotel to rest or explore more at your own pace, whether visiting the lake or the park's visitor center.

And at night, after dinner, you will venture out again in search of the magical Northern Lights.

Day 6: Abisko - Kiruna

Breakfast.

After a delicious breakfast, you'll say goodbye to Abisko and Lake Torneträsk, as it's time to return to Kiruna. Upon arrival, you'll check back into the hotel and enjoy some free time to relax.

In the afternoon or evening, you'll head to the municipality of Jukkasjärvi, home of the famous Ice Hotel, the largest ice hotel in the world (entrance not included). This amazing hotel is rebuilt each year with ice and snow and is open from December to April before it begins to melt with the arrival of spring.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the charming wooden church of Jukkasjärvi, the oldest building in the municipality, built between 1607 and 1608. Did you know that the church is known for its altar adorned with a triptych carved in wood by the Swedish artist Bror Hjorth?

For your last night in Lapland, you'll dine at a local restaurant.

Depending on the conditions of the day, you can return to Kiruna or stay in the area to try to see the Northern Lights near the frozen lake.
