Where history meets nature in perfect balance

Day 1 and 2: Spain - Vientiane

The trip you deserve so much is about to begin. Head to the airport with your suitcases and embark towards Vientiane. Have a good flight!

After spending the night on board, you will arrive at Wattay International Airport, in the very capital of Laos. The guide and the driver will be waiting to take you to your accommodation. Welcome!

Day 3: Vientiane

Breakfast and lunch.

Start the day with a good breakfast and get ready for your first visit in Laos. You will begin your day with a visit to Wat Si Muang, a temple shrouded in legends and known for its mysterious supernatural power. Imagine how that air of mystery will surround you as you explore its sacred corners.

Then, you will head to Buddha Park, a hidden gem on the banks of the Mekong River, near the famous "Friendship Bridge". Here, you will be surrounded by a fascinating collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. Did you know that these sculptures were created by an enigmatic monk? You can learn a little more about his vision of the universe if you pay attention to every detail.

In the afternoon, you will immerse yourself in the history and spirituality of the city. You will visit Wat Sisaket, the temple known for its thousands of small Buddha statues. Next, you will explore the ancient Wat Prakeo, famous for having housed the Emerald Buddha, one of the most revered icons in the region.

On your way to the That Luang Stupa, the national icon of Laos, you will stop at the Patuxay Monument. This imposing Laotian "Arc de Triomphe" is a perfect place to capture some memorable photos of your trip.

And to end your first day in style, you will have the chance to enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset over the Mekong River.

Day 4: Vientiane - Vang Vieng

Breakfast and lunch.

Today it's time to say goodbye to Vientiane, so after breakfast, you'll head by car to Vang Vieng, a picturesque and peaceful town that has managed to maintain its charm despite the growing tourism.

Upon arriving in Vang Vieng, your first stop will be the Tham Chang cave, a place of great local importance. Imagine how the history and daily life of the farmers intertwine in this cave, which has also served as a temporary refuge. Here, you will observe the crystal-clear waters flowing from the mountain towards the river, surrounded by landscapes that include charming villages and rice fields. What feelings do you think this picturesque and lively environment will evoke in you? Surely, you will never forget it.

After exploring the cave, you will head to the famous Blue Lagoon. This place will offer you a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters. How does the idea of diving into a paradise of vibrant blue water sound to you? And while you recover from swimming, you'll have the option to take a boat ride on the Nam Song River. This ride will allow you to explore the most spectacular landscapes of the region, with its imposing limestone formations and panoramic views that invite reflection (and photography).

Day 5: Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang

After a comforting breakfast, you will transfer to the Vang Vieng train station to board the express train that will take you to Luang Prabang. This journey, lasting approximately one hour, will offer you a smooth and scenic transition to your next destination.

Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will begin your exploration with a visit to the National Museum, located in the former Royal Palace. Here, you will immerse yourself in the history of Laos through an invaluable collection of artifacts ranging from the times of the earliest kings to the last sovereign. What aspects of the rich Laotian culture do you think you will discover in these ancient relics?

Then, you will lose yourself in the bustling and vibrant Night Market. This market is famous for its charming selection of handmade fabrics, crafted by locals and neighboring tribes. Imagine the array of colors and textures surrounding you as you explore the various crafts. Prepare your wallet, because you're sure to want to take more than one souvenir.

Day 6: Luang Prabang

Breakfast.

Good morning! You will start your day very early, at 5:45, with a private car transfer to Ban Vat Sean. Here, you will have the privilege of witnessing the majestic alms-giving ritual, where a long line of monks dressed in saffron robes will silently walk the streets, collecting offerings from the locals.

Then, you will delve into the morning market of Luang Prabang, a vibrant place full of local life. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the daily life of the inhabitants, observing how the day begins in this charming city.

After returning to the hotel for a well-deserved breakfast, you will embark on a full-day city tour. You will start with a visit to the former Royal Palace, a historical gem that offers a deep insight into the cultural wealth of Laos.

Next, you will embark on a peaceful boat trip to the Pak Ou caves, located 32 km upstream. On the way, you will stop in a village famous for its Laotian whiskey, Lau Lao. Here, you can observe the fascinating process of making this potent rice whiskey. Do you dare to try it?

Upon arriving at the Pak Ou caves, you will be amazed by the sight of the thousands of Buddha images found inside, each with its own story and significance.

After the visit, you will return downstream to Luang Prabang to enjoy lunch on your own, before embarking on an exciting afternoon excursion. You will drive for about an hour south to discover the Kuang Si waterfall, one of the most impressive sights in the region. In the national park, you will take a tranquil walk to the waterfalls, passing by the Asiatic Bear Rescue Center. Who knows, you might be lucky enough to see one of the 20 Asiatic black bears in the rescue center.

For the more adventurous, there is the option to climb to the top of the main waterfall, offering an even more spectacular view. And if you dare, you can swim in the refreshing waters, although between November and January, the temperature can be quite cool.

Day 7: Luang Prabang

Breakfast.

Start the day with a good breakfast and get ready to board the ferry that will take you to the other side of the river.

Your first stop will be Wat Chomphet, a temple known for its traditional architecture and serene surroundings. From here, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Luang Prabang and its surroundings. Can you imagine the tranquility of this place and how the landscape will unfold before your eyes from this elevated point?

Next, you will visit Wat Long Khoun. This temple is a true treasure of traditional Laotian architecture, with a main hall, stupas, and structures adorned with intricate wood carvings and decorative details. Its red and gold colors create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

After exploring the temples, you will head to the Pottery Village Ban Chan, also known as Ban Chan Khong. This place is famous for its pottery production, and you will have the opportunity to observe the complete process, from shaping the clay to firing the finished products.

In the afternoon, you will immerse yourself in the heart of Luang Prabang, located at the confluence of the Khan and Mekong rivers. You will start your exploration by visiting some of the most important temples: Wat Xiengthong, Wat May, and Wat Visoun. Each of these temples offers a unique insight into the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region.

Finally, you will climb the 328 steps to the top of Mount Phousi, an effort that will undoubtedly be worth it. From this elevated point, you will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We can't think of a better way to say goodbye to Luang Prabang.

Day 8: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap

Good morning! Today you will finally set foot in Cambodia, what do you think?

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to rest and finish packing because today you will take a flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, our guide will be waiting for you to start your exploration of this fascinating region.

The first stop will be the temple of Beng Mealea, one of the lost temples of Angkor and a less touristy destination offering a unique and evocative experience. Located about 80 km from Siem Reap, Beng Mealea will impress you with its mysterious atmosphere and its vegetation-surrounded setting.

After visiting Beng Mealea, you will be transferred to your hotel in Siem Reap, where you can settle in and enjoy free time to explore on your own or relax in your new surroundings. Do you dare to explore the Old Market of the city and taste the first Cambodian delicacies?

Day 9: Angkor Wat

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

What if I tell you that today you will discover one of the symbols of Cambodia? Believe me, because today your day will start with a visit to one of the most emblematic temples: Angkor Thom. This majestic complex was once the capital of the Khmer Empire.

In Angkor Thom, you will be amazed by the Bayon Temple, known for its enigmatic stone-carved faces. You will continue exploring Phimeanakas, a temple with a rich history and impressive structure, and the Terrace of the Elephants, famous for its elaborate carvings and panoramic views. Don't miss the Terrace of the Leper King, a place full of mystery and architectural beauty.

Then, you will dive into the majesty of Angkor Wat, the largest and most famous temple in the complex. Its grand architecture and detailed sculptures will leave you breathless. Next, you will explore Ta Prohm, known for its magical atmosphere where the jungle and ruins intertwine in an eternal embrace. Imagine how the main buildings of the temple, hidden behind a short walk along the jungle path, slowly reveal themselves to you.

During the day, you will have the opportunity to participate in a monk's blessing ceremony, a deeply spiritual experience. For this ceremony, make sure to dress appropriately, covering your knees and shoulders. In a ceremony that lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour, you will have the opportunity to purify your karma and ask for good luck and well-being, how lucky!

After a morning full of exploration and spirituality, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at Chanrey Tree restaurant, specializing in Khmer cuisine, where you can savor the authentic Cambodian flavors in a cozy setting.

At night, a special dinner awaits you with an Apsara dance show at the Angkor Village Theatre or at the Crystal Angkor Restaurant. This traditional show offers a window into the rich Cambodian culture through elegant dances and live music, enjoy!

Day 10: Siem Reap

After gaining strength at breakfast, you will embark on a unique experience with a visit to Tonle Sap Lake. Here, you will enjoy a relaxing boat ride through the floating village of Komphong Phluk. This village, with its stilt houses, will offer you a fascinating insight into everyday life on the water and how communities have adapted to their aquatic environment.

In the afternoon, you will explore the Rolous Group, a set of temples that are among the earliest temples of the Khmer civilization. You will visit Bakong, a majestic temple that is one of the oldest and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding region. Next, you will discover Lolei, known for its detailed carvings and rich history. You will also visit the temple of Preah Kor, with its characteristic architecture and serene atmosphere. What sensations do you think you will experience as you walk among these ancient ruins and admire their magnificence?

To end the day, you will head to Phnom Bakheng, one of the most spectacular places to watch the sunset in Siem Reap. The view from the top of the temple, with the sun setting over the horizon, will offer you one of the most memorable experiences of the trip, promised.

Day 11: Siem Reap

Breakfast and lunch.

Your journey will begin at Kbal Spean, an archaeological site located in the riverbed, bearing the same name, deep in the jungle. Did you know it's also called "The River of a Thousand Lingas"?

Here, you will embark on a two-kilometer uphill hike to reach the impressive carvings. The path can be a bit challenging, with rocky and winding terrain, but the effort will be worth it. What views do you think await you at the end? They certainly won't disappoint you.

After approximately 30 to 45 minutes of ascent, you will arrive at a stream with waterfalls and carvings sculpted into the rocks. These images, created during the reign of Suryavarman I, have a rich history and unique beauty. In the dry season (from November to April), the river flow may be scarce, and the waterfall might be less impressive, but the place still has a special charm, promised.

In the afternoon, the exploration will continue with a visit to Banteay Srei, a temple favored by almost everyone for its compact size, excellent state of preservation, and intricate decorative carvings. This temple, known as the "temple of women" due to its delicate ornamentation, will dazzle you with its detail and precision.

Then, you will head to Banteay Samre, another temple highlighted by its pink sandstone walls and finely carved bas-reliefs, considered among the best of Angkor. The quality of the carving in this temple will offer you a fascinating insight into the artistic skill of the ancient Khmer.

Day 12 and 13: Siem Reap - Spain

All good things come to an end, and today after breakfast, you will head to the airport to catch your flight to Spain.
