The crown jewel of this city is undoubtedly the Holy Trinity Column, a World Heritage Site and the symbol of Olomouc, standing at an impressive 35 meters high. Upper Square is home not only to this marvel but also to the Arion, Hercules, and Caesar fountains - the latter being one of the city's most impressive. Stay alert as you stroll through its historic center. You'll notice there's something different, as it was completely destroyed and rebuilt, now characterized by its Baroque buildings.

On one of the facades of the Town Hall, which is a work of art in itself, you'll find an Astronomical Clock, although it bears no relation to the one in Prague. At 12, you can enjoy a peculiar dance of its animated figures: a milkman, a footballer, a dancer, a worker, and even a chemist! The Archbishop's Palace and the Cathedral of Saint Wenceslas are two points of interest that showcase the importance and influence of religion in the city.
