With over 45,000 hectares, more than 140 species of mammals, 500 varieties of trees, 350 species of birds, and over 100 species of reptiles and 5,500 insects, this park is one of the places with the highest biodiversity in the world. There's so much to see in Corcovado that getting lost in its beaches, its tropical forest, and enjoying its untouched nature will make falling in love with this place more than easy.

Our commitment goes beyond designing trips. At PANGEA, we collaborate with Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center, the largest wildlife rescue center in Central America, located in La Garita de Alajuela. Since 1989, this space has been dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of thousands of animals each year, with a clear objective: to return them to their natural habitat and preserve the biodiversity of Costa Rica. It also promotes breeding programs for endangered species and offers a permanent sanctuary to those who can no longer return to the wild. Because traveling also means caring for the life that makes a country unique.
